Blackstar HT-1RH amp head review

Today I got this Blackstar 1 watt head with the cab. I'm thinking can't be much right. Wrong this head is loud as fuck. And is outstanding in tone. With and option of British or American or even in between. This Blackstar head delivers the tone you want to shape very easily. It didn't take hours to dial in a tone. In fact dialing in a tone was almost instant. The head and cab are an awesome deal for the money. $399 at Guitar Center. I got mine at the one on Palmdale, CA where the staff was excellent and very informative. This amp rocks for Metal,blues,or just kick as clean tones this head does it all perfectly. I am so damn glad I did not pass this up.

Cobalt co4 mic

OK so as always  I wanted to do a review on a mic that didn't cost hundreds of dollars. Here is the next best thing to a shure sm57.  It is the cobalt CO4. At first I didn't really expect much from this mic. But to my surprise it does the job! And quite well at that. The Cobalt CO4 for $39 at Guitar Center. How do you beat that. The mic does well micing an amp or acoustic guitar. This is something you gotta try.
